I was just called by somebody saying they were from UK Financial. The said they had a cheque for me for money i was owed from bank charges. They knew my address then asked me to confirm my date of birth. I told them i was not giving it to them as i had never heard of them. When i said this they hung up!

An Indian person called claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse asking for an upgrade even tho I never signed up from them in the first place! Be careful from imposters as scammers from India will bounce their phone numbers to a UK number making you think it's a legitimate number.
Phoned me this afternoon, but hung up when my answer service kicked in. Irritation, more than anything, but obviously not anyone who actually wanted to contact me!

Got a phone call from this number yesterday afternoon. The woman on the other end was very vague and very hesitant I literally had to squeeze out of her what it was she was calling about. Obviously a scam of some sort given how unprofessional she seemed. Anyway she said or rather mumbled something about a Govt backed scheme to wipe out most of my debts (that I don't have) I just told her I have no debts and those that I did have were paid up for years ago.
