Called to say there was unverified items on my account, to press 1 for me recognizing them or 2. No names given as to who calling, I did nothing and put phone down.

I never take out maintenance contracts on anything as a matter of principle, as it generally works out cheaper to pay as you go, so I know this isn't true. Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!

SCAM. FRAUD. Be very alert. When asked what CITY they are in, they said Merseyside in St Helens. I had no idea 0161 belongs to that area. Always thought it belongs to the Manchester District.

A complete SCAM. They pretend to be some in charge in your company and they ask you to buy Amazon and Apple gift cards in shops. Be careful and double check within your company.

Automated "suspicious activity" message, mentioned £1000 foreign transfer. I let them talk to my answering machine and ignored. Interestingly, had another call 10 mins later, this time from 01732 896820 - they hung up immediately my machine kicked in. Probably the same scammer using different numbers??

I was called by this number at 08:18 this morning by someone claiming to be "Amazon Prime" (recorded message) and invited to be transferred to cancel a subscription ('press 1'). The person then asked for my details and, when questioned, told me that it is not possible to contact Amazon directly or my bank over this. The conversation stank so I discontinued the call.

Had miscall from this number, when I called back, some guy asked am I mr Jones, when I said no he started about some energy grant. Seems just like another scam- blocked now

It is a scam pretending to be O2. They got into my account and ordered an iPhone which I didn't ask for. Luckily they didn't manage to change the delivery address and I changed my password on time. O2 confirmed it is a scam.
