Foreign sounding man says I registered with his organisation a few weeks ago 'wanting to earn extra income'. Terminated the call without providing any info. Also had a similar call yesterday but the 'phone number was one digit different!
Claimed to be from Postcode lottery saying I’d won a discount card for supermarkets and that I’d also won a free flight to anywhere in the world. Passed call to her senior who wanted to “activate” the discount credit card and said needed to deposit £1.00 into my account to activate the account. I got a text supposedly from PayPal saying suspicious activity on my account and asking me to check via a link that they provided. I checked my account via a different method and found nothing wrong. This nimber appears to be used by SCAMMERS.
Missed call but did ring Yorkshire Housing earlier to report a repair so will likely be a survey on my experience. Always get one unless I withhold my number.
