Just after receiving 01225 809616 (no response, no speech), which I picked up because it was a local number to us. This number called - listed as International 0037283087478. I let the call go to answer machine where it shut off after 3 secs. So, was the 1st number a spoof call to capture numbers of people who picked up? Which the 2nd number then used?

I worked for a blinds company years ago on the phones and its where the data came from. Lifestyle would ask the person if they would want blinds in the future. I have been getting four to six calls from this number a day. If I answer, they hang up after a minute or two and do not say anything. It s harrassment and I d love to know how to get my number removed.
SCAM pretending to be from Microsoft. Let them waffle on for a minute or two then told them I was aware they were attempting to hack my details. Soon hung up.
