This No. is used by Community Call Prevention - a company that claims to reduce unwanted calls. All they do is charge you a monthly fee to register you on the free TPS register This company is a part of the problem, not the solution. They have been told many times to stop calling & that all percieved "permissions" to call have been recinded. They say, each time, that the previous operator didn't action the request properly and promise it is fixed now...

Searched Google and found they are being looked into by the FCA as they are unlicensed and are trying to sell services or products with out being registered. Said they were contacting me about a problem I had with my house - suggesting it was rented / local authority. It's not so I said they had the wrong number and they hung up. Automated message when you pick up that says ive avoided tax of some sort and that I need to press 1 to speak to someone to avoid it going to court. After pressing 1 it just goes silent and when you call it back it just says persons phone is switched off. Im based in Wales and call is from Manchester so will assume its a scam

SCAM Fraud Caller said they were from "banking credit control" and wanted my name and date of birth because he had seen fraudulent activity on my card. When I said I had 4 cards he again asked for my name and DOB so I made something up and he said he could definitely see £300 going to Amazon and £1100 as an International Money Transfer to China! I again asked him which of the 4 cards he was talking about and when he said VISA I told him I didn't have a VISA card and he put the phone down.
