Still not sure who called, rang it back as expecting contact with Brentford County Court, the call was answered by answer machine that said "Trying to connect you" then some music and then the line went silent so I cut the call when that happened and still no answer. Seems dodgy now but will see if they ring back.

Old scam. Claim to be from BT Openreach saying there is a problem with broadband causing damage to devices but they can fix it for you. Just a scam to get info, passwords or even put spyware onto your device. Just hang up on them and warn others that this scam is going around again.

Selling caravan on gumtree amongst other sites, received text message asking me to email further information with an address. Email replied immediately saying wanted to do PayPal transaction in full no questions asked. I emailed back not interested in a scam. Reporting to PayPal. Don t touch with a barge pole definitely a scam!!!
