Fraud Phone company is investigating this number based in Yorkshire as they found it was linked to my pay monthly account. So knew my personal details and set up a new line! I only found out about it due to a different investigation regarding “crossed lines” or someone basically listening in on my calls! Received a phone call from this number this morning at 10.39am. When I lifted the receiver there was some garbled noise then a single tone and the number rang off. Hard to say whether or not this is a 'dangerous' number but need to be careful. Not good when no-one speaks.
This number left a message on my answerphone saying that unauthorised payments had been made from an Amazon account and to press 2 to talk to someone. Clearly a scam but would scare some people to do the wrong thing.

Well this was interesting! 028 4067 1515 (Banbury) just rang, it is Saturday at 10:55am. I did a quick google while the phone was ringing and came up with the Anglers Rest pub in Banbridge. Weird (I have no connection to the area) but seemingly legit. When I picked up, the caller said he was calling from Currys/PCWorld with a cheap mobile phone offer. I said I don't need a new phone and he said thanks and ended the call. The whole "using a legit number" is hella sneaky!!

Scam from asian sounding male suposedly working for Virgin Media and claiming that my router was faulty. After getting me to jump through some hoops, told me that I would be getting a new router and £204.56 in compensation. That when I realised it was a scam and they needed my account details which they did not get.

SCAM Only one person calls me on my landlinge and that's my brother but somehow it seems to have been circulated to scammers and/or on the dark web. This number called on my landline (getting lots from lots of false numbers for months now) and it was a silent call. I called it from my mobile (number withheld) and it wasn't a recognised number. Constant marketing calls from D2M. It's a complete con. Said I filled out a web page for Green Chef and I qualified for a discount. Considering I'm disabled and get all my meals delivered ready-made that didn't happen. I suspect my details were passed to them from five years ago when I tried Hello Fresh. I've received multiple calls a day from D2MS and I decided to answer this latest one, all from different numbers.
Answered the call. Obviously an office or call centre. They cleared down.

Had 3 calls recently with the same recording from different numbers. They say they are from my bank, but don't say which one, big red flag. They say l have 2 unusual transactions, including from Amazon. No activity on accounts, obvious scam.
