SCAM: Man with Indian accent, saying an Amazon Gift card for 39.99 had been charged to my account, from a postcode in London. Asked how I was today & I strung him along to waste his time & said ’not good’. He had my initial, surname, address & postcode, as well as my phone no. I told him I don’t HAVE an Amazon Account. This is the negative balance team from Paypal (See https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/Subscriptions/Paying-an-outstanding-recurring-payment/td-p/1000315 as an example). This team will call Paypal customers if a payment on their account has been paid by paypal but not by the funding source, creating a negative balance. The account holder has 45 days to deal with the issue, before Paypal go to the funding source to ask for the money on a "Chargeback" basis. Legitimate caller if you have a paypal account
So far this evening this number has called 3 times. No conversation at all. It has also called repeatedly over the past month again no conversation on pick up. Sick to death with it.!

I ve had so many missed calls of these people then they send me a message which came up just a number and asked if they "can call me later"! Well I thought it was someone trying to get sexual with me until I put the number in here and seen,realised these ejits had text me twice of different numbers!!! Asian male claims to be Joe from Sky insisting on selling me Sky Breakdown cover. Up to 5 calls a day. 1471 results in poorly worded computer generated message re tv repair. He was very upset when I asked him to stop talking and to listen to me. He continued in very, very broken English to talk. I told him never to call again and to remove my number from his list. I’m going to remove my number from Sky too. Good luck.
