HMRC is aware of an automated phone call scam which will tell you HMRC is filing a lawsuit against you, and to press one to speak to a caseworker to make a payment. Like the previous person who reported this number, I also received a text message with the same message. Firstly, I am not expecting a parcel. Second, I too am always in. And thirdly, the message came through at 00.16 am….!! I don’t know of any post office employee who would be calling or trying to deliver a parcel at just gone midnight…! SCAM

TAXES / HMRC - obviously recorded/robotic male voice claiming to represent HMRC and telling me to press 1 to be connected, if I don't press 1 a warrant will be issued and I will be arrested. Clearly nonsense and a scam but potentially worrying and so dangerous in my view.
Received a text claiming to be from online retailer VERY regarding new stock of Xbox Series X for pre-order asking me to reply YES before 2200GMT 10/11/2020 if i'm interested in re-ordering from them. Contacted VERY customer services and queried the number to which they stated that it is legitimate and if replied YES to, I will receive a phone call to organise re-ordering or the console. Unsure how legitimate this is though.

Male voice with mild local accent (ie British) addressed me by name but spoke too quickly for me to identify his name / company. Started to talk about 'Goverment Scheme'. I suspected telemarketing concerning insulation , solar panels etc. so promptly hung up. Might have been a scammer but most likely modern equivalent of double glazing salesman.

call from this number Monday 6th March at 13.50 when an automated voice said I was about to spend £700 + on an Amazon order and that they had halted the transaction pending my pressing button 1. I smelt a rat and hung up then Googled the number to find this site. I'm confident it was a hoax.
