Answered and guy started to talk (I think) with a lot of people chatting in the background. Then phone went dead. I have now programmed my new Panasonic phones to block this number in the future. What a good investment they were.

So far this evening this number has called 3 times. No conversation at all. It has also called repeatedly over the past month again no conversation on pick up. Sick to death with it.!

Got a call from that number today they left a message saying they were Bank of Scotland fraud department

wanted my son, who has not lived here for 10 years, tried to get his details from me, stating input error. If my son wanted them to contact him he certainly would not have given a number he hasn t used for 10 years. They said they had a mobile no and wanted to check if it was still in use but due to data protection, couldnt give me what they had, but could check off the number I have for him. I told them the same, if he wanted them, he would have left his own home no and if they genuinly had his mobile then

IndiN or Pakistani male with poor spoken English clai,ed to be from this bogus company. Immediately started fishing, wanting me to confirm this that and another. He rang off when I questioned who he really was and why he was cold calling illegally. Not the first time this number has called.

Claims I filled in lifestyle questionnaire 12 months ago and they were going to better my pension that I had commented on. Total rubbish , don't do questionnaires for this ...

I checked with Virgin after readin Peters comments and they told me it was not a premium rate call .. it was a local rate .. I had a county court bailiff attend my premises and this telephone number was also on the paperwork I was given !! :(

I strongly suspect a scam, judging from the amount of bank details asked for. Needless to say, I hung up. An alternative number:- 0203-007-916
