Called 5 times in the last week - I said that to him and he said they don t call off lists and it was the first time they d attempted to call. He was polite enough but just wouldn t take my word for it. Each time i ve put the phone down after asking them to remove my details but not happened yet. Got sms text purporting to come from LLoydsBank (note 2 capital LL's) telling me my login details had been suspended and to call this number. I verified that there was nothing wrong with my login details by logging in in the normal manner and I reported the scam by calling the Bank on their official number.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1617685xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, life insurance - insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new?
Claiming that they have the service policy for my washing machine. Knew my name, and I suspected it was a scam so I asked him to specify which model washing machine as we have two, and he hung up.
This number has called 4 times so far today. It rings twice, then hangs up. When I try to call it, I get put straight through to an answer machine, so I ve been repeatedly calling and filling it up with belching noises. It s the small things.....
