What is the point of a reverse phone number search when all you get in a search reply is where the area code covers and nothing else.
I missed a no caller ID call from Dundee city council, the person gave me this number to call back on. I'm immediately greeted by an American automated voice giving me options to which I decide to hold for assistance cuz none of them mean anything to me. I don't type or do anything but an English automated voice comes on says "sorry I didn't get that", this repeats indefinitely.. pretty sus for a number that's meant to be the counsel. This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.

Called me but when I answered immediately had an answering machine that said a letter for me had been returned to them so they would be taking legal action, like an answering machine would go into that much depth. Then I waited for the message to repeat to hear who it claimed to be and instead it hung up. Clearly a scam.
