Well spoken young male claiming to be from BT business and looking to review my phone usage and how I could reduce my costs. When I advised him that this was a residential line he said that as it was still being used for a business he could probably still save me money. When I showed disinterest he advised me that I would need to have a conversation with them soon as BT were discontinuing analogue phone services next year and we would lose our service if we didn't transfer to digital. I hung up.

SCAM call from someone suggesting he was from BT and seeking access to our broadband to correct a fault as they had been receiving lots of alerts and that our IP address was being used in the public domain. On calling back, i got an automated message saying that this number had not been recognised.

Caller pretends to be from BT alledging illegal access to your broadband. Asks you to download a website Anydesk.com. This shows you suppossedly all the users who are accessing you broadband. Then they ask you to check your bank account and lo and behold someone has taken money from your account. In the next few minutes they show you that you have been credited with a large amount of money. This is to say thank you for helping them track scammers. Maybe I'm being too harsh marking this as Dangerous - I heard an unconvincing attempt at phishing from, supposedly, 'your call blocking service', 08-03-22.

SCAM An incomprehensible squeaky voice on the usual bad callcenter line and given an O2 security code turned up a few seconds later that's presumably what they were asking for to scam my account. Nothing good to be found here.

Looks like a classic "You owe tax" asked for my name and occupation and obviously I gave completely false info and yet they carried on like I just confirmed my identity.

Keeps calling but no one answers. Last three digits are changed each time I block them. When will this be stopped.
