I got a call this morning from this same and it sounded like an Indian person on the other line asking for my name and then it immediately dropped. I call back the number and the voice note confirmed that the number has been theft from another user and is now been used for SCAM and that none shouldn’t entertained it. I’ve now blocked this number on my phone. SCAM

The above number texted me today claiming they are Amazon and that there had been an attempt from IP address:42.344.91.27 to login my account.

Fraud The claimed to be from my home appliance cover. They tried to get my bank details (even though we are on direct debit so the real provider would already have it). When challenged they called back several times getting more condescending each time. We then phoned our actual cover provider and they confirmed it was a scam call. DANGEROUS.

Fraud Sent WhatsApp messages to my mother saying "Hi Mum, this is my new number, I broke my phone, my day has been the worst, I don't want to talk about it, I am really stressed out", I'm paraphrasing, but that covers everything that was said in the conversation except Mum asking "John, is that you?" which they replied "yes". Pre-recorded female voice (American accent) purporting to be HMRC but number coming up on iPhone as Newquay area. Couldn't clearly hear what was said but usual message engineered to put people under pressure while offering a "Press number 1" type option to be put through to scammers most likely. Just waited and it cut-off.

Just got a call from this number, claiming they were Amazon Business and that our prime service is suspended. They need a payment of £95.00 to correct it. Sounds very 'Scammy' to me.

Fraud i am on someones hit list, i am getting calls from all over the world, they call and are either very rude or the just hang up

Call claiming to be Bank Security. Called yesterday using a different number. Both sounded like scams.

SCAM!!! We had a ‘New Customer’ approach us and ask for a quote so we sent over a New Customer form to make sure we could offer a credit facility. They filled in the details of a reputable company so passed the credit check. However, when it came to payment due date, the phone number they provided no longer works and emails are coming back with an automatic reply each time from various different email addresses. I have searched each of these email addresses and they show up on a few scam websites.
