Another scammer trying to frighten me into phoning them back so they can attempt to steal money from my account, which they HAVE NOT DONE. Number now blocked!!! Pity the phone company do not take them to court every time they try it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fraud - HMRC tax scam. Automated response stating that your name is been used for a scam in relation to HMRC and hold on the line whilst they connect you to someone who can help. Blocked number.

Claiming to be from O2 offering a mobile upgrade but when I said I'm not with O2 he said he could still offer me an upgrade. Likely some kind of con.
Fraud: This was a text received stating someone was trying to change recipient details on an HSBC account and they wanted me to confirm details and authenticity. However, I have not had an HSBC account for more than 4 years. Please report the number to your phone carrier and apply the normal block and spam filter to the number. Seems to be people working from home via a switchboard as all I heard in the background was this person's kids running riot as he started explaining to me that he was doing market research... Hung up and blocked, didn't seem to be trying to sell me anything but not interested.
Automated call From local number. Message said fraudulent transaction has been found on VISA, press 1 to cancel this transaction. After hanging up at this point, the caller appeared to stay on the line for a couple of minutes to catch me making an outgoing call to my bank. Verified this by calling my landline from a mobile which rang engaged, a short time later I tested my landline again and it was clear.

This is apparently a genuine number for FedEx but it's been hi-jacked by a 'BT' scammer using a recorded message saying they've monitored suspicious activity. I cut the call then tried to dial 1471 but the line was still engaged and I had to try a couple more times before it cleared.

Fraud, pretending to be a pretty chinese girl messaging through WhatsApp, but it is unacceptable an incompetent scammer who is very poor at his job. Seems to be in the extreme end of stupid. I played him along for weeks and am still nibbling on the bait. He's investing a lot of time and effort and is oblivious to the fact I'm on to him. Uses a VPN based in Dublin.
