Received text from this number asking me to pay a £2.70 Royal Mail shipping fee by Sat 27th Feb 2021 or parcel will be returned to sender. Went to Royal Mail website - does not recognise the ref number they added to a link in the text. Think it is a scam.

07817842999 Had a missed call from this number, called it back and it was a T-Mobile recorded voice talking about a test server. However, ?1.25 was charged to my bill and it s a scam. SCAM DON T ANSWER OR CALL THIS NUMBER.

"Sam" from "Windows & Doors" with rubbish about a "scrappage scheme" running in my postcode - asked if my windows and doors were over 10 years old, I didnt answer and hung up.
Unsolicited calls seeking to ascertain if you have pension money tied up elsewhere...then, I suspect they will charge you for looking for it. They would not reveal where they obtained my details but hung up.

Called trying to get us to do business with them , Living social. One of the cheap voucher type firms that failing businesses or over stockers use.
SCAM - they were trying to offer to switch my phone contract to get a new iPhone. I had to ask repeatedly for them to remove me from their calling list before they listened and said goodbye. Number is now blocked.
NEVER RETURN A CALL to an unknown number as you may unknowingly be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will incur a very large charge on your bill.

Stated he was phoning from Microsoft and became very aggressive and threatening when I said I was not interested.Stated they would cut off my computer .When I asked why he was phoning from a mobile rather than landline he did not respnd nor when I said I would phone Microsoft myself.Think this is most likely to be a scam (if not Microsoft need to be more careful in who they employ!!)

Well, they phoned earlier and a recorded message informed me, that it was my banks security department, which it obviously wasn't, the number trace showed a call the Russian Federation, RED FLAG. She said, Somebody has accesed your account and made a £600 purchase fron Amazon and a £2,000 transfer to an international account, RED FLAG I politely told her to stop trying t scam people and she immediately hang up, basically, our phone providers should block these calls, as we are paying to receive them!

This number is a number for EDF energy
SCAM. This number came through as a text and purports to be a dhl non-delivery notice with a link. The link takes you to a ‘google prize lottery’ which I didn’t bother to take further, but it’s obviously nothing to do with DHL. Have marked it as annoying and have blocked the number.
I think you may be right as me and my husband had the same call. We 2 have to go to a presentation. We want be going. I have better things to do than east my time with these jokers

I received a auto message from this number saying my internet would be cut off in 24 hours apparently it was from BT but I’m not with BT, obviously I hung up, just be aware.
SCAM they’ve called twice now, yesterday and today, yesterday no message, but today they left an automated voicemail that said you must dial 1 when speaking to us or a warrant will be issued and you’ll be arrested soon, it’s not a company known by google so I’m assuming it’s a scam due to the words on the voicemail

Received the text today ! Received on the 26th Dec and referred to 24th Dec. The exact message as above “Attempted Delivery”. This following is clearly obvious “Royal Mail were in Strike on the 24th Dec”. These stupid Thieving Clowns. Now reported to the “National Cyber Security Centre” You can forward the text to 7726 Don’t forget to create the contact and then block the contact. DO NOT CLICK ANY LINKS ! Hope this helps.

This is a naughty one. Someone is using the Motor Insurance Bureau s number to hide their identity. The MIB is the body that coordinates motor vehicle claims in the U.K. If you have not had a vehicle accident don t answer it, or at least ring back later, if you want to.
