I received a phone call from this number, say they were from my Bank?
Pretending to be from Carphone Warehouse, quickly hanged up after I made them aware I'll be recording the call.
Scammer tried to reach out on whatsapp offering a job that pays in crypto. It is a scam but you should definitely have fun and give them ridiculous answers.

This number is ringing my BT landline every day at different times of the day claiming to be from the BT technical department. The caller says they have been monitoring my broadband connection for several weeks and have detected a number of unauthorised users using my IP address. To correct this they want me to open my computer and accept new settings that they are about to give me. At this point I hang up assuming this is a scam and will give access to my PC and everything that is stored on it.

AO aggressive aftersales, using a no-doubt masked number. Female caller asked me to confirm my personal details - I refused given they had called me! It was framed to confirm my order, but was essentially a very sharp practice way to try and sell insurance. I asked if there was an issue with my order - she said 'no' very unconvincingly. Received on my mobile twice in quick succession. Number unknown to me, so did not answer. No voicemail left so assume this was a sales/spam call. similar number 07711271806 tried again today. According to map location both calls originated from the same place, a few miles South East of Great Mitton. Number originates from O2 system.
No-one one spoke when I answered. Then called again twice, but it stopped before having the chance to answer.

This person left a message to say my "shipment" could not be delivered and I must contact the post office. As I have been at home all day and I have not ordered anything I am reluctant to contact these people. Nobody came to my door as I have CCTV and nobody has called here today. This frightens me as I am an old lady.
