SCAM "Child" looking for money by sending text and asking to go onto WhatsApp, please, be original at least!

Likely scam. They rang me. I picked up but didn't say anything into the phone. They didn't say anything either and then hung up. I always answer in this way when I receive an unexpected phone call from an unfamiliar number. Legitimate callers always say "hello" and try to get a response. Scammers hang up. It happens every time!

Received a text message advising me that my vehicle had entered the congestion zone so please pay the charge. I havent driven in months and the link provided didnt look trustworthy. Looks like a scam

07979532983 called 10May23 at t1:21hrs left msg on ansa machine same recorded message as was received ON 05/05/2023: 020704859199 called 5 May 23 at 14:40hrs, recorded message.... along the lines... "Two debits to your ???? account, one £300 from Amazon, the other from an overseas authority... both look suspicious, press 1 to approve payment, or 2 to talk to us". 16.9.22 - Phone rang at 8.30pm - did not answer and they did not leave a message. Assumed it was a scam call and have blocked it.

Received a text saying my parcel has been dropped of at the collection centre. I have not bought any items, and I'm not expecting any parcels from friends or acquaintants.

Text message claiming to be Santander, claiming that there is some suspicious payment attempts on your current account. Said they’d attempt to call shortly ti talk to you about it in on a number, it was like the banks number, its not the actual banks number its different by 1 digit.

This number is asking for personal information. Do not trust!

SCAM called about washing machine insurance not the company we are with told him and he hung up. Called back the number to hear "thankyou for callng its ok an agent will be with you shortly" rang 3 times and hung up

This number came up on a pop up box when trying to install a new version of Microsoft Office on a Mac. It said you needed to ring the number for help or you would lose the product. This is not the case and this company has no affiliation with Microsoft. It is a scam to get your credit card info and gain access to your computer. Run a separate Google search and ring Microsoft’s real helpline number if this happens to you. If you’ve already given them access to your computer ring Action Fraud.
