I had a missed call from this number and called back to get an automated voice messaging system that said to press 1 to speak to an agent or 9 to add my number to Do Not Dial list. I pressed 9 and the call was terminated.

Call center, Took a while to answer after I picked up, then unintelligible Indian gentleman, apparently called Sam from a company whose name I could not catch, doing something I could not catch (despite asking 'Sam' to repeat himself.
OMG these people are relentless! i hung up 3 times and they kep calling back telling me they would cancel my insurance with them. I dont even know who they are

Cold-calling scam regarding "financial market investments", likely based overseas as the caller's proferred name did not seem to correlate with their accent. Nervous laughter and unconvincing denial from the caller when accused of being a scammer and asked if they were based in Kolkata. Avoid.

Asked for the wrong name and when I politely told her this she aggressively told me to "no, you listen!" before telling me I qualified for some nonsense win.
Called me and implied that they were operating on behalf of my estate agent and this was the 'next step' in the purchase of my new property. Tried to get my address details claiming that it was all part of 'data protection' - when I said 'heck no - I'm not giving you any details' then they doubled down on the the claim that they were operating on behalf of my estate. Very upsetting.

SCAM Called by this number early today. Female with a strong Indian accent, said she was from Vodaphone and offering me a new contract. I cut the call short as I was busy with other things. I check after revealed the number is registered to Hutchinson 3G UK / Three UK. VERY unlikely that Vodaphone would be calling to renew my contract via a Three mobile phone. Calling saying they were from Currys / PC World , accent suggested Indian caller, Currys / PC World do not have permission to call me - caller hung up when challenged on this. I suspect it was a scam call (your PC is infected with a virus type scam)
had a call pre-recorded call from this number claiming someone was trying to carry out a transaction for £900 from my Visa Debit Card (not specific about which one) and asking to confirm if it was me. Seems dodgy.

Advised if I did not make the payment to press 1 to get it cancelled as a possible fraud. After pressing one international old tone kicks in and accented woman answers 'hello' No way is this anything to do with banking or fraudulent payments. Be careful.
