The number is an Aldershot number. Called and spoke to my young son asking for a Mr Rogers. Rang again the following morning. He was a polite enough guy but he wouldn t tell me anything. Quite obvious it was a debt collection agency. I asked him why he was still ringing when he was told the previous day there was no-one of that name against my home number and actually I had my number for over 11 years. Answered this call and was met with a dialling tone ... Googling the number showed it to be linked to "Ambulance Chasers". They won t get a chance to call again as I ve blocked it on my iPhone. I have been inundated with calls in the last week from different numbers, but don t know why as I HAVEN T had an accident! Hopefully the law will be changed soon to bin these nuisance calls.

I called NatWest on their official telephone banking number who confirmed that this is an automated fraud prevention text alert. It was used to verify a suspicious transaction on my account with a simple Yes or No reply to the text. They state they will never ask for personal details on a text. Genuine number.

Asked for me by name and claimed to be from Hear to Help. They asked if anyone had ever worked in a noisy environment. I asked where they got my number from and they said The British Data Company. This is what I ve been told in the past when I ve had the same type of phone call from The Hearing Clinic. I told them I was on the TPS and they said it was their first time calling me. I refused to answer their questions and they hung up.

When I answered the call a man said he was calling from a security company which installed alarms etc - I said I was not interested and he said ok and I switched off phone. It was to my mobile number which I have only given to friends and family - cannot understand how I am now getting calls on this phone mainly from phones which appear to be in the North of England. Lots of times no-one answers but equally I do not answer most of them as presume they are scams
