Called on number 0441709918605 - avoided my call block against this number by adding international code. Vodafone sales apparently. Reasonable caller left me when said I wasn t interested.

It s a company ringing about debts they think you may have had or have and they try to reference your connection to a survey or some search you ve done possibly connected to you looking for the best credit cards available. Very busy call centre with lots of other people in the background so difficult to hear everything.

Keep getting calls from this number but when answered there s a huge pause. had plenty of similar calls in the past like this which are scam calls usually about an accident so reporting them as am TPS registered so no one should be calling

A "UK Consumers Survey" call, they have my name, and he just carried on (as if really hates his own job) try to verify my personal information which I ve then stopped him and he simply hanged up. A man with an Asian accent claimed to be from the Internet Security Department of BT, reporting a problem with my computer. I just told him that I am not with BT (true) and can t understand why BT didn t know that, and I hung up. This change of approach could be dangerous though because those with a BT connection might think it is genuine.
