This number called me twice this morning. When I called back, I got a pre-recorded message saying they would call me back another time. I had exactly the same from them last year and asked them to remove me from their database then, request obviously ignored.

My brother got a call from this number asking for a gas meter reading. He was not sure where the caller was from but a 1471 and internet search brought up this number as belonging to British Gas. However I am not with British Gas but with Southern Electric, for at least the last 6 years. I called Southern Electric who said they did not call for any reading and would not do so. This number has been constantly disturbing me during working hours with aggressive highly irritating calls of up to 10 times a day.

Very rude people!! They have called me everyday and every day I have asked them nicely to take me off their data base - they all plead ignorant saying this is the first time they have called. They kept wouldn t listen when I told them I haven t been in an accident. I asked for their name and told them if they keep harassing me I will report them - she wouldn t give me her name and then hung up on me!
