SPAM Said they were calling from BT and tried to direct me to press one to redirect. They said that I was using my internet illegally. Look out for this call.

Telemarketing. My mobile flagged the number as spam so I answered with my usual 'can i help you' and a woman asked for me, i replied again 'can i help you' and she started talking so fast about some sort of market research. TBH i didnt hear what she was saying cus she talked so fast! When i tried to interrupt her she said something like 'im going to call you everyday' then hung up. Ive blocked the number now.

Scammer claiming to be from O2, offering to reduce my bill by 30%. Didn't confirm my name, if it matches the account holder name, or any account details besides the phone number (which they'd just called, so duh...). Just started asking for the verification code they send you by text when accessing your account. The one where the message specifically states not to give the code to anyone, even people claiming to be O2 staff... Probably not calling from Edinburgh either, probably a spoofed number.

Cold call, from Scammer, wanted to me to invest in bitcoin or similar crypto currency.

This was an automated call saying they were from Amazon & I was being charged £90 for Amazon Prime. I do not have Amazon Prime & I know Amazon does not have my home number. Total scam

Fraud, Called previously from Global Cyber Fraud Solutions from 02080977056. Gave name as Dorian Raymond. Claimed to recover blockchain losses. He knew my name, mobile no and email address. Claimed to be from BT and talked about updating the cloud. Suspicious as we don't have anything cloud based with BT.

SCAM call from a man with Asian accent who said he was BT Openreach. I asked him if there was a problem with my BT internet. He said yes, how did I know that? I said well why else would you be phoning me? He said it's been running very slow for the last few days to which I replied that it's come to a complete stop because I don't have BT internet. I then told him to do something that I won't repeat and hung up.

I believe this to be a scam. Caller told me I owed tax, I cut the call off

SCAM This is a text from a scammer who's taking advantage of the legit cost of living payments. It says it's from the gov. website and asks you to click a link to add your bank account details so that they can deposit the amount in your bank, so beware! Anyone who is entitled to any DWP money will automatically have it deposited into their bank account and upon researching this, I was told that DWP will NEVER text or ring you to inform you of your entitlements or ask for any details.

SCAM - Repeated many calls from 01733 806--- numbers, block each time, they just change the last three numbers and try again. getting very many calls daily from Peterborough, I am sure if it was THAT urgent they would leave a message. SCAM Told me it was the royal mail and they wanted to send me an invoice for £1.55 for a packet with no postage. I asked how they got my number and they said the delivery office gave it to them. The supposed packet was in London and I am in Somerset. I called her bluff and said the delivery office did not have my number and she then hung up. They did not have an English accent.

Unsolicited call from the number 0238 069 2375 on late morning of 06/09/22 claiming to be from Amazon. Fake call for the purposes of fraud. Mildly threatening.

Scam. tried to sell something, then when I said not interested, asking where they got my name and number, they changed what they were selling, becoming forceful. I kindly said that they should remove my details from their list and not call again, suggesting they were acting illegally, because I am listed in the TPS, then they slammed the phone down on me.
