I called NatWest on their official telephone banking number who confirmed that this is an automated fraud prevention text alert. It was used to verify a suspicious transaction on my account with a simple Yes or No reply to the text. They state they will never ask for personal details on a text. Genuine number.

I answered this before it went to answer phone (no messages left when connected to it on previous calls) and got a load of waffle about loft insulation problems. SPAM Rang saying they were from my electricity supplier. I asked where they got my personal information from, as they knew my name. They said "the system". Asked again, what legal basis they were holding my personal data and where they got it from. They hung up on me.
Asked if I worked in industry and had a hearing problem. Hung up at that point!
