I believe this to be another insurance ploy claiming I've had an accident (which I haven't) I now don't even bother answering anything that starts with 01495 816*...

Called me to say that I had declared an accident in my car two years ago A fella with an aussie accent. When told it was not true threatened me with a solicitor letter for false claims DO NOT ANSWER IF THIS PHONE NUMBER APPEARS

Called 3 times. Tried to call back but got a recorded message saying they didn't take incoming calls. Never heard of the company at all, and neither has google.

When call is answered they simply hang up without speaking. Waste of time and energy.

Has called my mobile No a few times. This evening took the call. Company rep claim money owing to me for PPI, which they will help claim. It is not true.

Never answer these. Always follow them up with a web search. Blocked now.

Said he was from Domestic and General asked for my name, and then said he could not hear me could I give it again which I did. I had cancelled a insurance with D & G and thought they were ring to make me change my name. He then asked for the first name of my address and post code, and again said he couldn t hear me and asked me to repeat it again. This is when I got suspicious and hung up. I rang D & G and they apparently do not keep a record of outgoing cals.
