When I asked who was calling, without giving my name, a lady said "good afternoon, how are you today?" I asked again who was calling. the lady said " your father" and hung up. We were called by this number to say that £300 had been spent on amazon and over £1000 had been spent on an international transfer. They said to press 1 to allow those transactions. We hung up.

I got a call from this no. but I couldn't receive the call as I was in my duty hours and was not available.
This number rang me on the 16th Feb. I have never had a call from this number before, to my recollection, and don't know who it is.
Persistently calling the last couple of digits of the number change to like 5176 or 5274 or 5175 etc. They call at antisocial hours eg Sunday mornings etc. I suspect, although I never answer, that they’re some kind of debt collector for councils.
This number rang "advising" that £750.00 had suddenly appeared on our Amazon A/C - scam!
