I called today and offered to help me with debts. They called me from so many numbers and I am always receiving annoying voice messages. Told them to never call me back again.

This following is clearly obvious “Royal Mail were in Strike on the 24th Dec”. These stupid Thieving Clowns. Had a call from this number at 13.30 on 23/02/22. Upon answering i waited for the person to speak first, it was an asian sounding person in a call centre. As soon as they asked how i was today i asked straight out if they were a scammer to which they responded yes they were a scammer and a fraudster followed by oh my god repeated several times. I stated the call should now end and looked online to find number belongs to a sushi bar in London so this number was spoofed/cloned and not the genuine number.

SCAM: I believe this caller is possibly cloning local STD numbers. In an American automated-voice it then claims a substantial purchase has been made fron Amazon via your VISA account. Both of these accounts I have since checked and have not been affected in this way, hence my reporting this bogus land-line call.

Caller from this number stated that hmrc were giving back tax paid on ppi claims. I was due over £6000! Proceeded to ask me help to fill R40 form, my date of birth and then my national insurance number. At that point I asked her to send me the form as I didn't want to give my details. I had a email apparently from Meta (Facebook) to say this number (07956836341) had been added to my Facebook account and with a link to report this if it wasn’t me who added the number. The date on the email was wrong (Friday 6th June 2023 doesn’t exist). The link asked for my FB password so I didn’t continue. I checked my FB security details and no number had been added. It looks as though this is a scam to try to access FB passwords.
