Silent call, Rang twice early in the morning before 8am, woke up the household, and then rang off

Totally fed up with these calls. When this number is put into google one response says you are charged just for answering! I hope this is not the case and think its high time this sort of scam was stopped it seems TPS is no use at all .

This is an Avon call centre, trying to encourage their reps to order extra items. This in itself would be fine, but the number of times that they call is excessive in the extreme. They obviously use a system that calls a few numbers at a time and more often than not when I answer there is no one there. At certain times of the month I can get up to 10 calls a day. It is extremely annoying.

Account hacked. stayed on the line to get a recorded American voice thanking me and putting me through. 2nd time today on different numbers. last time I suggested they should cut me off as threatened - surprise - I'm still connected.
