I received a call from this number with an automated message saying that this was regarding some important information about my account. They didn t even specify what kind of account nor did they ever identify the company they were calling from. Seems to me like they want to get people to react out of panic because of the word "account". I didn t return any calls or anything, so they kept pestering me and now they are blocked. This number has called me 5 times since yesterday. On the two occasions that I answered, they just hung up on me. I have never spoken to them myself so clearly these cowboys have not heard of GDPR. I hope they are prosecuted for this.

This number called, claiming to be from BT, telling me my internet was being hacked and "used for criminal purposes". Clear sounds of a busy call centre in background. Female caller had an Asian accent and called me "Maam" (Drives me crazy!) Why would BT have a call centre in Orkney, employing Asian operatives? I hung up and have now blocked the number.

I keep getting recorded calls asking if I want energy efficient replacement windows under a government scheme. At the end of the message there is an option to press a single digit number on your phone (I think 7) to be taken off the calling list. Having tried this a number of times but still receiving the calls I pressed number 5 to select a call back. Few days laterI had the call back from 01202080040. It was a Lloyd's fraud protection call giving me a pin. I called the main line and confirmed it. I would still always note down the pin, put the phone down and ring the number on the back of your card just to be safe. Never give details to someone who call

Just got a call from Pauline claiming to be from Safe Call Solutions. She wanted to sell a box which would block unwanted market survey and cold calls. The cost would be 96p per week. I told her I would get back to her and the telephone number she gave was 03303530023. However when I dialled 1471, the number was 01273041661.Needless to say after reading other people's comments on this site, I will not be getting back to her.
