Answered this random call to my mobile, automated message saying that a charge had been made against my name from the inland revenue. Ridiculous, I called back to challenge them. A foreign man answered saying HMRC can I help you? I asked why they called me, he asked if he could have my name. I said no. He said You had better get ready to be arrested, Ms ....... (using my name, which I hadn t given), then hung up. Vile scum.

Bank has said the name of company taking the money was called smart service.

I have had 2 calls in 2 days from this company regarding my washing machine warranty. They could not tell me how they knew what machine I had as I recently obtained this machine from my brother. No paperwork completed on transfer.

PPI. They said it was called HELP YOUR CLAIM. I asked to speak to the manager and told them that my phone was registered to not receive cold calls, and asked them where they got my number from. They asked for my email address so they could let me know where they obtained my number from. I refused to give it, as next thing they will be sending me emails too. these people phone at least twice a day (sometimes more) and ask for 'mr firkin'. ive asked for my number to be taken off there list but the calls keep coming.

Found this on my missed calls list today, when I attempted to ring it a "This number is not recognised" message was given. Very strange.

Rang regarding supposed barclaycard from before 2010 and only knew my 1st name! Became aggressive and annoyed. When questioned how he got my number he slammed his phone down!

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. I keep an eye on my credit rating and am debt free. I have received unsolicited calls and texts. Called the number in the texts and asked to call this one - which I didnt. I have not given my name or address to anyone. I find this very fishy. They are a debt collection agency, so have the ability to access my address. After seeking advise, I will wait for them to send me some mail, addressed to me that outlines the reason for their communication.
