After this lookup I have blocked the number as it looks like another case of blocks of telephone numbers being sold offto con men. This number traced back to be from Ghaziabad Uttar Pradesh in India. They called at 13.58 on Friday 12th June, 2020. A Fllipino sounding young man. Asked me questions about mortgage and life insurance. He was polite, and reassured me that he wasn't selling anything. The survey lasted only about 90 seconds. Probably he will pass my data to some marketing firm and they will then perhaps try to sell me something, which of course I'll refuse. I don't normally speak with cold callers like this, when the start of the call shows they're in a call centre in Cebu or somewhere. He go

THis company called me and said a member of my family had been involved in a car crash. I asked could this be my mum, who had driven me to work this morning and then gone home, but wouldn t give me more information, or even tell me if she was ok. Eventually they said that she hadn t been in an accident and it was a sales call. Disgusting.

SCAM - scam baiters who bought Sky number ranges and are cold calling victims trying to claim to be the ISP. Tosser kept calling me "bro". I first asked him to confirm my IP address (dynamically allocated) and he gave me something he made up - that didn't have all 4 sets of numbers. Spam calls! This number called me twice and hung up after few seconds. It doesn t leave messages. Maybe it is a scam like ping call idk.
Said he was from Domestic and General asked for my name, and then said he could not hear me could I give it again which I did. I had cancelled a insurance with D & G and thought they were ring to make me change my name. He then asked for the first name of my address and post code, and again said he couldn t hear me and asked me to repeat it again. This is when I got suspicious and hung up. I rang D & G and they apparently do not keep a record of outgoing cals.
