Some man claiming to be from Energy Geeks about my water supply. Asked him a few times as to what he has to do with my water supply as there is only one company that provide in this area. He kept asking how it was. Couldn't work out what he was actually after so hung up. Either scam/spam or just out there to annoy people I'm not sure.

SCAM Had the name of the person who had my number a decade ago. Told me that person had given them this number when bought a washing machine in 2018. When I pointed this out they hung up so I could not find out the nature of the scam. But number could have been spoofed.

I have received quite a few calls from this number. I decided to phone it back, and there was an automated computer voice (sounded a bit American) which said "I m sorry, an application error has occurred. Goodbye." Obviously a scam of some sort. I ve saved the number in my phone as Spam Caller , so I ll be sure not to answer it in future.

Had dealings with RTA a few years ago and they were totally useless and not to be trusted. Had a call yesterday from this number and they are now calling themselves something like Business Associates, claiming they had a buyer waiting to buy my business and could they call back with details. Got a call from 0161 975 1500 but they hung up before I could answer. I have already reported them to Trading Standards to no avail. Recommend you waste there time but trust them with nothing!

Fraud: This was a text received stating someone was trying to change recipient details on an HSBC account and they wanted me to confirm details and authenticity. However, I have not had an HSBC account for more than 4 years. Please report the number to your phone carrier and apply the normal block and spam filter to the number. Fraud, pretending to be a pretty chinese girl messaging through WhatsApp, but it is unacceptable an incompetent scammer who is very poor at his job. Seems to be in the extreme end of stupid. I played him along for weeks and am still nibbling on the bait. He's investing a lot of time and effort and is oblivious to the fact I'm on to him. Uses a VPN based in Dublin.
