Automated message left on my voicemail. Claimed to be hmrc and quite firm that this message should not be ignored. I deleted it.

This company are making unsolicited calls. I have received one this morning and when I challenged the caller the call was terminated from their end. The number I was called on is listed with the telephone preferrence service.

Missed Call - Called Back - And the same PPI S**t. The lady started off asking personal details, which I didn t reveal and asked what it is about. She doesnt want to listen when I said I am not interested and she can take off my name from her database. Am now receiving atleast 1-2 calls a day and 3-4 sms messages from various people/companies and I think it has crossed the limits to be tagged as harassment. Am not sure what OFCOM is doing about it.

found out the home number of some of there staff that persist in these harassment calls. fed their details into 346 callback databases. see how they like being disturbed at 6 in the morning or 10 at night... lol

Received an urgent sounding recorded message, claiming to be British Gas and asking us to call 01216290765. Spoke to BG, and they have confirmed that THIS IS A SCAM, as they would never contact customers in such a manner.

This is the negative balance team from Paypal (See https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/Subscriptions/Paying-an-outstanding-recurring-payment/td-p/1000315 as an example). This team will call Paypal customers if a payment on their account has been paid by paypal but not by the funding source, creating a negative balance. The account holder has 45 days to deal with the issue, before Paypal go to the funding source to ask for the money on a "Chargeback" basis. Legitimate caller if you have a paypal account

Call regarding Gas and electricity bill, while I dont have gas at my property, Caller asked me Do I still pay direct debit for gas and electricity, when I said I am not the payer then she asked me name and detail of payer. Marketing scam

Threatening automated message, pretending to be hmrc. Claiming to be time sensitive with legal consequences.Complete scam!

Call supposed to have come from Microsoft Windows. Caller was asking about error reports we had sent - we hadn t. My partner took the call and, being savvy, did not give away any information. The caller ended the call himself with a thank you, goodbye.

It is obvious that the firm making these calls is also manipulating this forum. Both are equally shite. In my case they have a pretend-itslocal pseudo number. Jail for you soon. Not soon enough.
