Caller asked to speak to person responsible for registering the company. When I asked what it was regarding he told me it was "about exactly that". Replied we don t take cold calls and hung up.

Caller purported as acting as 3rd party for a Finance Company which I have just used (so far so good). Wasn t happy when started to ask for relatively minor details (address/post code) so caller advised not prepared to discuss further. Not content with my perspective of "This is unsolicited, from a number I don t recognise, and you ve advised you are as acting as a 3rd party" tried to push on. This number has just rung me when I answered there was no one there despite me answering on the second ring. I have got no idea who this is but Despite being registered with TPS we are still getting lots of unsolicited calls who when we answer there is no one there. There should be something which can be done to stop this

I am fed up of these people calling me even though I have asked them to remove my number. I used their service once a long time back and I m getting calls many months later. I ve now got them blocked.

I have witnessed family getting harassment calls, invoices and debt collection threats from these stupid people. The magazine they claim to place ads in, is also aware of their scam and of course has no arrangement with them whatsoever. Report them to Trading Standards and Action Fraud and if they send letters, ignore them but keep a record of them so that when they do get caught (a matter of time) you can contribute evidence if required.
