Got a call from a man with strong northern accent he asked for me by name. He said that they believe that I had worked in a noisy environment. When I told him I hadn t he asked what jobs I had done since leaving school. He than asked if I had ever worked in a noisy job, I told him no, he then just cut me off. I cannot stand ignorance and bad manners he shouldn t be ringing anyone with the attitude he has, prat!

From background noise it was a call centre, but after a short time they hung up without speaking.

I get several calls a week from this company which I ignore. As it seems they have first names they must be getting this information from phone companies selling lists on. Only my friends, family and phone company know my number AND name.

Called it back - doesn't state the company name, just goes straight onto hold.

Beware if you receive a call from this number. Its a scam company called owl claims. They will try to sell you a ppi claim solution. They have been reported to the authorities. DO NOT TAKE THE CALL AND WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT CALL THEM BACK!!!!!!!

This is a company called utilita marketing. If you ring them back they give you the option to opt out of all calls from them.

I live in Sweden and this number called me, i didn't respond incase it would be a salesman or a scammer. But i have no clue why this number would be calling me

Called today said he was Steve from TalkTalk and my internet connection was about to be shut off for 15 days. He would send a new router and cable to avoid this. He was about to ask me to follow instructions to re-set router, etc when I asked for proof he was from TalkTalk. He hung up! Funny though, we are actually in talks with TalkTalk about a new router and seem to get scam calls right after we speak to them!

Number called me. Claimed they were ab auditing company but then asked loads of questions about if I had life insurance etc. Which bank I was with etc. They already knew my name...

Span callers claim you where in an accident and will get money for you !! Don?t bother answering as I haven?t been in an accident and they take no for an answer

Left a text message on my mobile phone claiming they want me to give them my number so they can ring me back regarding a personal accident claim and how much I am entitled to. Except I don t have a personal accident claim. Obviously some kind of phishing text.
