Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to. SCAM - number sent in a text message pretending to be AMEX about a purchase I hadnt made. the text was not from Amex and this number is not an AMEX number

This number called me at 07:25 with an automated message saying they were from Amazon and that I should call them back, the line was very crackly.

The number 01736 735261 called me about 10.30am 28/06/23 and it was a recorded message from an International Banking service stating I had made a payment of £300 to Amazon and £1100 to another provider. Told me to press 1 if correct and 2 to speak with an adviser. Pressed 2 and answered by "This is Officer Stephen, how can I help". When I asked which organisation he represented the phone went dead.

I did my usual barrage of EXPLETIVES 'you know what i mean' and they hung up. Don't be fooled by these scam artists. AMAZON WOULD NEVER PHONE YOU WITH ANY PROBLEM WITH YOUR ACCOUNT.
