The said my name and asked if I worked in the industrial sector and if I d ever had any problems with my hearing? I replied..."Pardon?". This is a company called Allez (not sure of the spelling) who call from numerous land line numbers in relation to PPI. They get their numbers from a database which collects numbers from competition entries, i.e. no connection at all to PPI.

Seems to be the same call centre as 07722407332, 07722407970 - all the same range 077224079xx. I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very usefull for bocking call centres). No problems.
