Has been calling repeatedly and today was the first time I answered. It was a recording of a female voice. The message said that my national insurance number had been compromised due to fraudulent(?) activity. It went on to say that I should press 1 otherwise action will be brought against me. This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked

I received a call from this number following posting my car for sale on Gumtree. The caller said he was from a car insurance firm, but really didn't sound like he was, not professional approach at all. I asked him not to call back and hung up. I don't know what he was really after, perhaps a scam, but hopefully I will never find out.

Had a call from this number today 28/11, Regarding a Barclays business a/c, claiming to have sent me a letter - he had not. Some little black urchin from Bongo Bongo land requesting bank details!! Do have a business a/c active, but couldnt tell me a/c nos or where a/c held. Told the little grub to get a job and pack in attempted theft.
