Asked for me by name. I asked who was calling. He said it was in response to my putting my name down for more information and asked me what kind of investing I was looking to do. I answered "where was it that I put my name down?" *click* he hung up immediately. He never called back (that was yesterday) Very dodgy.

These people will generally want remote access to your computer to "fix a virus" or something like that. Similar experience to Tuglet ... Caller claimed OH had been getting lots of nuisance calls, I said no, he never picks up the phone unless he knows the number and if our phone does not block them automatically, then I did and put the phone down. Now polite I know but expected the hard sell.
