I only use this number for comparethemarket, that's where he has got it from. I would say it's British Gas database as that's what I was looking to change to. Unknown - and unwanted - seemingly related to a recent car insurance application online...
Just got a call from this number. The caller siad he was from the Call Blocking Service and claimed that they will stop the nuiscance calls you receive - for just ?40! I heard of this kind of scam before and ironically enough I m already registered with TPS - which is free, by the way. It s clearly a scam since these kind of services are usually free and don t require your credit card information.
