Do not call them back whoever it is - you will pay for it. Tell me why companies still use payed lines for telemarketing (some other reason than scam?)... I called the number back after a missed call. a recorded message informed my i was one of the "lucky" few to win £1000 in cash. I instantly hung up.

I answered call as it appeared to be a glasgow number . Caller claimed to be calling from LRA as above and stated they were checking that insurance company had paid out on my ( non existent ) claim for a (non existent) accident in my ( non existent) car. I asked him to send me the paperwork regarding this and he hung up on me . They are obviously ambulance chasers looking to find claimants to represent and make profit from.
