This number keeps calling. When I answer the caller hangs up after a second or two. Anybody got any thoughts on this number ?

"Virginmedia support department" - about the sixth time they have called since Christmas plus one from Talk-Talk. Told me I had a problem with my router. Complete scammers. I wasted 20 minutes of their time by displaying ignorance of computing and miskeying input. When asked, the first person I spoke to gave his address as 81 Newgate Street London, which is a BT building. I was then passed onto a "supervisor" who gave his address as 179 Harrow road. Caller had an obvious Asian (Indian sub continent?) accent and did not identify himself or the company he was calling on behalf of. He wanted the previous subscriber of my phone...

what a nuisance unsolicited calls about how they could do this and that and wouldnt take no for an answer. In fact rang back to continue

Asian person said he was from the Telephone Preference Service. Had my surname and flat no/postcode. Said they can stop scammers calling - know that the TPS cannot do this with numbers that may look like UK nos but are routed from Asia. He started to ask whether I still paid by Direct Debit (TPS is free!!!) so told him I didn t want to speak to him and hung up.

Why don't these callers just eat shit and die.

They called me this morning when I was out, and didn't leave a message - who could it be, I don't know anyone in Medway!

Came up from darlington. This person named copeland called re: bing verification of business listing I said I was already verified but had a duplicate listing, any how this person was rude, overbearing and aggressive, and refused to listen to any thing I said saying (he was going to hang up as he didnt like how i spoke to him) imagine that, I have the call recorded and saved on file.

Called on 11/02/2020. Claimed to be Microsoft technical dept and asked if I was sitting at my computer right now. I asked if he could tell me whether my computer os is Microsoft...

Yet another call to my mobile which I chose not to answer.

12 calls in the last 24 hours from this number. Answered first call and was told they were to do with PPI, I immediately asked to be removed from calling list caller then became rude and abusive. No further calls answered, this seems to not deter them at all, and is bordering on criminal harassment.

Pig sick with these calls which I try not to answer and no message left on the answering machine. Will they ever stop?

DailyTelegraph trying to get me to resubscribe after i cancelled my subscription a couple of weeks ago. I just hung up and blocked the number, have not received any other calls from them from other numbers yet.

28 Oct 2021 - Received 3 phone calls from this number , Glasgow based - I finally answered could tell it was a call centre , asked lady with annoying voice what call was for. She went on..that it It was some sort of survey knew my name & address , said if I answered questions would not call again. I asked her what it was regarding for the second time she hung up . Reply
