A foreign gentleman called from this number 01223 691019, claiming to be from Virgin Media. He wanted access to my modem via my smartphone or computer to make updates. When I said that I had neither he started to get a little agitated. Also kept hinting towards a bad phone connection. This was a call to my landline. I don't know if this is a scam or not, but is very likely as Virgin probably wouldn't access your home internet via a 3rd party mobile phone company.

Had a call saying they are a University Survey company that reviews student uni experience, knew my full name and uni that I attended, went on for about 15 minutes asking to rate my experience out of 10 etc. Not sure if legit or scam, but even then dont know what they would do with the info I provided

Once connected it has a few seconds of silence, a nice clear sign its unsolicited but I thought I d wait and see who they were. SCAM / SPAM Phone number said it was from a bank ( did not give details of which bank) told me I had an issue with my card. The call was delivered by an automatic system.
Claims to be calling from BT Openreach and my computer is being attacked by virus etc ... She disconnected when I said I don't have internet but use pigeons to send mail.

These people keep calling my mobile number and asking for the complete wrong person! I have told them on numerous occassions that they have the wrong number and to remove my contact information but it obviously goes in one ear and out the other! I have blocked this number from my phone number but I would like to officially report the problem so if anyone knows how to do this please share. Thanks
