Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. A broad accented indian lady called 'Rachel' who doesn't take no for an answer for her attempts to start a PPI claim, had to just hang up - very pushy.

Had numerous calls from this number, which I blocked but still keep getting calls as they are also using 0117 2942938 and 0161 8149509. They called 4 times in 30mins. I never answer as I am usually working or driving

This number has been calling for month, plus this number has been ringing me sometimes right after each other and it is a nuisance sometimes 6 or 7 times a day. Pester call claiming I have had accident and several thousand pounds is waiting to be deposited in my bank.

Constantly calling my husband who is getting terrible distressed. Insisting that he had phoned them regarding PPI claim which they were handling on his behalf. He hadn t. Requested they removed his number but still insisting he called them. Double checked his outgoing calls - hadn t rang them but they won t take no for an answer. Had to hand up on them as they wouldn t go away.

Called today said he was Steve from TalkTalk and my internet connection was about to be shut off for 15 days. He would send a new router and cable to avoid this. He was about to ask me to follow instructions to re-set router, etc when I asked for proof he was from TalkTalk. He hung up! Funny though, we are actually in talks with TalkTalk about a new router and seem to get scam calls right after we speak to them!
