I received a call this afternoon from David from London Police Station informing me that fraudulent transcations are taking place in my account (approx. ?3100) and it would be best for me to relocate my funds into safe keepings. I was continuously rang by an Asian sounding male, calling himself "Sean smith" and claiming to be from the citizens advice beuro. I basically called him a liar, and asked him to take my number off of his system. He refused, and continued to call me numerous times, some withholding number, some not. Some calls I answered, but didn t talk, carried on like normal, some calls I let ring out. Do not trust whoever it is.

I don't know for sure as I'm basing my suspicions on information for another almost identical number, which would be a scam posing as an accident claim company.

Calls are reputedly from Verizon Global in Reading trying to solicit insurance claim-related business. Just rang off after a few seconds!
