Been a rash of these lately from different numbers. They ring and when you don t answer they send a text message from the number to say you missed a call from that number. Designed to appear as a normal phone notification, it s actually a text message from the caller. Far too dodgy to bother with. Suspect some kind of premium rate scam. Blocked obvs.

Based on previous comments I assume this is a Kwik fit MOT reminder. I have been called twice, no message left. I d assess as nuisance call - a text would be a fine alternative and they have already reminded by email

A man called me from this number and said that I had a car accident in front short and he needed my data for insurance. Since I had really short before a car accident, I asked for more detail. But he could not say how the accident expired or looked like the cars to me. He then said that he would have been not at all involved. He ll call for a friend. Linked to a life insurance query I made, keeps calling from multiple numbers in the same area code. I called them back and they were quite happy to give my name to the caller, without any ID checks. Very dodgy, do not buy anything from this company as they have no idea about customer service.
