Claimed to be calling from "credit investigation unit" and government had shortlisted me to write off 90% of my debt. I got him to stop, then said I was recording the call and began quizzing him. The story he spun twisted and flipped, wouldn't answer how/why the government knows what my credit status is, or who compiles the shortlist, or where his employer got it. I repeated that I was recording the call and suggested it was a scam. He swore and cut off the call.

This number +447802691905, has been tracking my mobile phone, I have just found out tonight. I am very worried and concerned about this and for my personal safety. Anyone who is tracking a persons mobile phone is very Dangerous, Something need to be done about this.

The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. Hmmm since my car was on the drive and the hall light was on and my wife and I were both here I would dispute that claim!!! Automated call claiming to be from my bank querting 2 credit card charges. As they didn't say what bank or which credit card & I had the exact same message from an 033 number only an hour ago, I told them to get a life

Scam caller, claiming to be Lloyds Bank and that my debit card had been used suspiciously. Just hang up! Especially, also do NOT confirm ANYTHING about yourself.

SCAM- knew my name and said it was a very urgent call re a technical difficulty with my policy which meant my life assurance policy could not be renewed. I told him I wasn't interested in scams and hung up. He then tried to ring me back 5 times. I have now blocked the number.
