Missed call when trying to call back it says invalid number
Just received a call from this number about online trading. When asked how they got my number, she said online banner ! Strange - I asked her to remove my details - she said that I would need to speak to someone in the company and would not give me the name of the company. Then hung up on me.
SCAM Must be a scam this number randomly called me today. Automated voice saying it was HM revenue & customs claiming that there was a fraud case in my name that I needed to press 1 to speak to the officer on the case. That if I didn't sort it then I'd be arrested shortly. Load of bollacks if you ask me didn't bother pressing 1 & hung up straight away soon as the automated voice got out what it was obviously programmed to say. Probably would have tried to get some sort of financial detail
he asked for me by name and then asked how i was. When I said "busy", he sighed and hung up!

Automated call saying they are your internet service provider and they have detected illegal activity and will suspend the service....then there are options, press 1 for this, 2 for that.......stopped listening and terminated the call. I think this organisation is trying to get people to sign up to let them pursue PPI claims and the like. They hung up when I asked them for their number so that I could pursue a claim with the TPS. 1471 came in handy.

Automat call about loft lagging pretending to be from an UNRECOGNISED NUMBER !!! i've had several of these and just hung up but I let this one run I was asked several questions about my loft and myself. the answer-bot would only accept certain answers and repeated itself if you answered with something it did not understand it is just annoying

As a person who works in the It industry I can tell you that these people are not qualified to be "Microsoft certified technicians. They lack the knowledge and expertise. They are extremely persistent about these" hackers" and "viruses" when most of them probably don t exist in the first place. As the other guy said, play around with them. It s fun!
