SCAM - Apparently they were from Sky trying to test my broadband speed. Notwithstanding I am not with Sky, I asked them to tell me my own name and postcode and they hung up. How rude! I assume the next step would be to access my computer to 'fix' the issue.

Phoning for someone else even though I have had this number since 2012. I asked them if they were a debt collector and they said it was a personal matter and that they would remove the number. Refused to say who gave them my number. It s always the same person that these companies are after. Do they give up and sell the debt on, complete with MY phone number?
Got a call from this number, as I answered the phone they used my nickname which was very odd. Proceeded to say that I had two friends who had been recently and recommended me, one of whom I hadn't heard of but the other was a close friend.
