Looking like a scam , this person register on dating app and after ask your number , I give my number and after start speaking on WhatsApp . I ask my name and she didn't know my name from the app , I told to check the app and after to tell me my name , and she tell me different name . I don't know what I say but I blocked .
Said he was from O2 offering discounts or additional services for being a loyal customer, seemed polite enough, not incredibly pushy, had my name as well as seemingly some idea of my data usage. Called representing Public Health England - I sensed fraud. Called again using abusive language, racial language and threatening my family.
I was called at about 11.35 am today with a recorded message saying that my card had been used to pay £700+ on Amazon and £2000 international money transfer, asking me to press 1 to speak to someone, which I did not do. I strongly suspect that this is a scam.
